Cancellation requests made within 10 days of the start date will not be refunded.

Cancellation requests made 10+ days prior to the start date, regardless of the reason, will incur a $50 cancellation fee to offset the loss we incur on processing fees for reservations already placed.

If we need to recall your cart due to a hurricane or other unforeseen issue, we will issue a prorated refund for days you prepaid for but couldn’t use. If you operate the vehicle in violation of the law, including: driving on US Highway 98 (four lane 45mph road that runs East/West), are observed using the cart without seat belts, or if you are observed transporting children 3 or under without a cart seat, your cart will be confiscated and your refund for unused time will be $0.

One last bit of fine-print: as expressed at the time of booking, ensuring your rental neighborhood allows golf carts is your responsibility. We want to honor our neighbors so PLEASE confirm with your property manager before your reservation begins!  If we're found in violation and are contacted by an HOA to repo our vehicle, no refund will be issued you.  To review which neighborhoods do not permit rental carts, click here.

• Call 911 and report the accident. Do not leave the scene. Obtain an accident report from the sheriff.  Treat it the same way as an accident in your car or truck. To report an accident, click here.
• When conditions and/or regulations permit, move onto shoulder or side of the roadway to prevent further damage or hazards.
• Keep calm. Be courteous. Don’t argue. Make no statement concerning the accident to anyone except a Police Officer. Get his/her name and badge number. MAKE NO SETTLEMENT.
• Obtain the names and addresses of witnesses. Obtain the names and addresses of all persons injured regardless of how minor the injury. Try to learn where injured are treated.
• Call the Beach Better Golf Cart Rental Team 850.830.4699 to report the incident. An Incident Report form is required to be filed to thoroughly document all damages involved in an accident.

Note that we do not consider stranded carts due to dead batteries an emergency. Lost keys are also not an emergency. We will care for your group’s non-accident-related needs during normal business hours, unless there is a crash or theft involved. Thank you for allowing us to focus on you and your family during the day and on our own family in the evenings.

Beach Better offers Rental Collision Protection through a third-party provider.

Your RCP policy will cover damage to the rental vehicle by collision, vandalism, fire, windstorm, or hail ($20,000 max payout with a $250 deductible).  The cost for this protection is $20 per driver, per day.
